About this Program
Old Dominion University offers a Master of Science degree in computer science designed for students with a strong background in computer science. ºÚÁÏÕýÄÜÁ¿'s Computer Science Department supports in-depth study at the graduate level in areas such as: bioinformatics, data science, digital libraries, high performance computing, machine intelligence, networking, cyber security, software engineering, and computational foundations.

Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis. Update software or enhance existing software capabilities. May work with computer hardware engineers to integrate hardware and software systems, and develop specifications and performance requirements.
