About this Program

Old Dominion University offers a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Science degree in sociology. While earning their Bachelors, students majoring in criminal justice or sociology have the chance to earn departmental honors. The departmental honors program is designed to provide undergraduate students who are excelling in their studies an opportunity for more advanced studies in their major field including the opportunity to work independently with department faculty.
