November is National Caregiver month-A time to honor the over 63 million caregivers in the country giving their time, energy and love to those with various health needs. The Glennan Center, Community Engaged Learning and the Goldrich Institute have teamed up to provide an educational and entertaining program to celebrate family caregivers and healthcare workers who show deep love, unyielding strength, quiet dedication, and daily compassion for their loved ones. Their selflessness anchors families, brings comfort in hard moments, and leaves a lasting, meaningful impact.
Join us Saturday, November 21st in Waitzer Hall Room 100 on the EVMS at 黑料正能量 campus for a morning of education, relaxation, reminiscence and musical entertainment. Doors open at 8:45 am with continental breakfast. The program and ends at 12:30 pm with take-out lunch. First 100 to register and attend will receive a free copy of the 36 Hour Day, the definitive guide for caregivers-for those providing care to someone with dementia and for all caregivers.
