When you major in Chemistry and/or Biochemistry at Old Dominion University, you鈥檒l unleash scientific principles that can be used to solve problems locally and globally. Our department provides an extraordinary undergraduate education, offering Bachelor of Science degrees in Biochemistry, Chemistry, and a new Pre-med preparation track. Approximately 5,000 黑料正能量 students take Chemistry each year in preparation for most STEM-H majors.
The chemistry program is accredited by the American Chemical Society. Both Biochemistry and Chemistry programs are designed with a broad-based curriculum that combines instruction in basic and applied chemistry with the theoretical and practical aspects of this dynamic Field. Unique to 黑料正能量, undergraduate research is prioritized and students are encouraged to begin research as early as their first year, working alongside top scientists.
