Over the course of the project, four newsletters were created to address key topics in health and diabetes prevention. All featured an article written by , Professor, Vice Chair, Family and Community Medicine. In addition, the program was highlighted by the EVMS Magazine in the article Hungry for Change.

COVID-19

In 2020, at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, the project created a health newsletter focused on the illness. Designed for high-risk patients with high blood pressure and diabetes, it offers tips on health care, exercise, the risks faced with a variety of activities, and instructions to create a mask.
