Dr. Agatha Parks-Savage serves as the Associate Dean & Associate Designated Institutional Official of Graduate Medical Education, and Professor of Family and Community Medicine, EVMS@黑料正能量. She earned both her Doctor of Education (EdD) and Education Specialist (EdS) degrees in Counseling from the College of William and Mary. She is licensed as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Registered Nurse (RN).
She holds certifications as an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS), Executive Coach, Life Coach and Physician Coach. She also completed her certification as a trainer in Crucial Conversations. Dr. Parks-Savage brings more than 37 years of combined clinical experience as a psychiatric nurse, professional counselor, and teaching master鈥檚 and doctoral levels students. In addition to several peer-reviewed publications, she has delivered numerous invited and accepted presentations at international, national, regional, state, and local levels. In 2016, she was awarded the EVMS President鈥檚 Faculty Award of Excellence and in 2024 earned the Faculty Award for Mentoring.
She has been elected to serve on the AAMC Graduate Medical Education Steering Committee (2024-2028), AAMC GME Leadership Committee (Appointed 2024-2027), AAMC Student Survey Advisory Committee (2025-2027), and ACGME National Wellbeing Committee (since 2020).
