Application Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
Minimum Eligibility Requirements:
- Graduate of an LCME-accredited U.S. or Canadian medical school, AOA-accredited osteopathic medical school, or an ECFMG-certified international medical school.
- Eligible for Virginia medical training licensure.
- Eligible to work in the United States or meet institutional visa sponsorship requirements.
- Completion of medical school within the past 5 years preferred.
- Passing score on:
- USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 CK, or
- COMLEX Level 1 and Level 2-CE
- No more than one failed attempt on any licensing examination preferred.

- Three letters of recommendation, including:
- At least one from an Internal Medicine physician preferred
- One clinical letter strongly recommended.
- USMLE/COMLEX transcripts
- ECFMG certificate (if applicable).
