Old Dominion University offers a Post-Baccalaureate Endorsement in Technology Education. The post-baccalaureate endorsement in technology education is designed to prepare a person who has a baccalaureate degree to be a technology education teacher. Participants who successfully complete this program will qualify to apply for a Virginia teaching license to teach technology education.

For students simultaneously seeking a graduate degree, they should apply for the graduate program and may take up to 12 credit hours that may be used toward both the M.S. and post-baccalaureate programs.

Requirements
Students must:

earn a 2.75 cumulative grade point average on undergraduate level courses and a 3.00 cumulative grade point average at the graduate level,

complete the graduate student University assessment.

Obtain certificate of completion in First Aid/AED/CPR, Dyslexia Awareness Training, Child Abuse and Neglect Recognition and Intervention Training, Regulations Governing the Use of Restraint and Seclusion in Elementary and Secondary Schools, and Cultural Competence Training. These must be on file with the Office of Clinical Experiences.
Licensure Information
Virginia Licensure
** You do not need three years of educational experience to apply to this program. However, to be eligible for an Administration and Supervision preK-12 license in the Commonwealth of Virginia, you must have completed three years of successful, full-time experiences in a public or accredited nonpublic school in an instructional personnel position with licensure as a teacher or school counselor. ºÚÁÏÕýÄÜÁ¿'s MSEd concentration in educational administration and supervision is approved by the Commonwealth of Virginia.
